Church of COVID-19 Censors Free Speech

Uploaded 4/14/2020, approx. 3 minute read

Yesterday, YouTube started to delete my videos on COVID-19, the pandemic. Not one of my videos contains any conspiracy theory. I have spent my entire adult life fighting off conspiracy theories, pseudoscience and other nonsense. All the information in my videos has been thoroughly vetted and researched. Some of it had become obsolete, some of it had been proven wrong by time and accrued knowledge, and then I took pains to correct this information in future videos. My videos are academic, they are stable and solid.

It seems that what I had done to deserve this mistreatment by YouTube is that I dared to disagree with the dogma of universal social distancing.

Many mainstream medical experts agree with me actually. They also say that universal social distancing is a bad idea and that it would lead to a second wave of infections which will be far more deleterious and dangerous than the first one because the population will not have developed herd immunity.

Actually, quite a few countries such as Sweden, United Kingdom until recently, numerous other countries in Africa and Asia, they don't have social distancing. They have tracing, they have testing, they have many things. They protect the vulnerable populations but they don't have social distancing.

But it seems that if you dare to question the policies of the administration or more precisely the healthcare establishment in the United States, it is a sufficient basis nowadays for heavy-handed authoritarian censorship.

YouTube is a monopolistic utility. It is a private company, technically speaking, but it controls such a big chunk of the video upload market that it should be regulated as a monopoly.

Monopolies are not allowed by law, by constitutional law to censor speech. YouTube had numerous other options at its disposal.

One idea, YouTube could have added a disclaimer to flag videos that it deems inaccurate, misleading or dangerous. Instead, YouTube chose the reprehensible path of the most unsavory regimes in human history. YouTube chose to muzzle dissent and to digitally execute its barriers.

This may be the most long-lasting damage of this pandemic, which is abating.

The reversal of human and civil liberties hard-won over centuries with bloodshed. YouTube's egregious misbehavior is exactly what gives birth to conspiracy theories, the very conspiracy theories that YouTube claims to be suppressing.

If one looks at YouTube's behavior, one is compelled to ask, what gives? What is this happening? Could it have anything to do with the fact that Google is a major beneficiary, economic, financial beneficiary of the pandemic, about to receive massive contact tracing contracts? If this is true, and of course it's mere speculation, then who can we trust? If our information purveyors suppress utterly legitimate speech of conspiracy theories, not misinformation, utterly legitimate speech, who can we trust and why this is happening?

We gave rise to the Church of COVID-19. It's a new religion, and like every religion, it has its doctrines, it has its dogmas, and it has its saints.

Dr. Fauci is a saint. Dr. Birx is such a saint. Like in other religions, other nascent religions, like in other young religions, if you dare to question the saints or the dogma, you're beheaded.

This is exactly what happens to people who dare to question the dogma or its couriers, its messengers. It's a slippery slope. It's a dangerous path towards the suppression of free speech regarding other issues, because today you suppress free speech regarding a health care issuetomorrow you may be suppressing political speech.

And the day after you may be suppressing oral speech. In dictatorial regimes throughout history, even the most extreme dictator didn't start by suppressing the entirety of speech. Even the most extreme dictators in history started by suppressing specific speech, anti-nation speech directed against the nation, speech directed against the majority and for certain minorities, a speech that doubted government policies.

Congratulations, there was an erosion of incremental salami type, you know, sausage. And at the end of which, people discover to their shock and amazement that they can't say anything without the prior approval of the state. And if they fail to obtain it, they find themselves in very, very dark places.

All my videos are still available, mysteriously, on my other channel on YouTube, which is Vaknin Musings. Vaknin, like my name, V-A-K-N-I-N, Musings, M-U-S-I-N-G-S. One word, Vaknin Musings. There's a link to the Vaknin Musings channel on my main channel. So if you look at like recommended channels or something like that, you will see a link to this channel as well. All the videos are still available there. I don't know for how long.

Thank you.

Social Media Turn Sinister: We, Orphaned Adolescents, Should Rebel

Professor Sam Vaknin criticizes YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for their censorship and manipulation of content, claiming they are fostering confirmation bias and undermining free speech. He argues that these platforms are monopolies that should be regulated and broken up. Vaknin also accuses social media platforms of infantilizing users and promoting narcissism, while suppressing dissenting voices. He warns that the suppression of free speech could lead to violence and calls for peaceful resistance against social media platforms.

COVID-19: The Panicdemic and What's to Come

Professor Sam Vaknin discusses the COVID-19 pandemic, comparing it to the flu and questioning the panic surrounding it. He argues that the panic is causing more harm than the virus itself, as people are dying from lack of medical treatment for other conditions and from the effects of social isolation. Vaknin believes that the pandemic will peak soon and that the world will be left to deal with the consequences of the panic for years to come.

COVID-19 Panic Merchants: Lies, Conspiracies, and Statistics (Oh, and Science)

Dr. Anthony Fauci has been accused of providing misleading information about the COVID-19 death rate, using a higher rate in popular media than in academic papers. This has led to conspiracy theories about the government's intentions. The panic created by the pandemic is intentional to keep people indoors, as medical professionals and politicians are unsure of the virus's capabilities. Some experts argue that COVID-19 is not much worse than a bad flu, and that the current measures may force the virus to mutate and become more dangerous.

COVID-19: Mutating Viruses, Grandiose Doctors

There are eight strains of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, but it is unlikely to mutate as quickly as the flu virus. The SARS-CoV-2 virus has spikes that allow it to attach to ACE2 proteins, which are found throughout the respiratory system, and furins that pierce into the patient's tissue. Immunity acquired by exposure to the virus is likely to last for years, and universal quarantine and social distancing are mistakes that prevent the emergence of herd immunity. The medical profession has failed to provide a measured, reasoned, proportional, and analytical response to the health crisis, and there is a lot of narcissism going on.

Narcissistic Grief in Pandemic (Intl. Conference on Psychiatry and Mental Health)

The pandemic has elicited two primary responses: grief-related reactions and narcissistic defenses, with the former being a natural response to the loss of normalcy and the latter reflecting deeper psychological issues. Grief can be understood through the five stages proposed by Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, which include denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance, as individuals navigate their emotional responses to the pandemic. Narcissists, particularly somatic narcissists, may exhibit heightened anxiety and coronaphobia, and their reactions to illness or disability can manifest in various maladaptive ways, such as magical thinking, rage, paranoia, or masochism. Ultimately, the pandemic has highlighted the complex interplay between individual and collective psychological responses, revealing how denial and narcissistic traits can emerge in both personal and societal contexts.

Young Narcissists: “Blue Bird Syndrome”

The Blue Bird Syndrome describes the phenomenon of Generation Z's dissatisfaction with their lives, leading to frequent job-hopping and an inflated sense of self-worth. This generation is characterized by narcissism, grandiosity, and a fear of missing out, which fosters a culture of entitlement and victimhood. Their reliance on information rather than knowledge, coupled with a lack of commitment and investment in their futures, results in self-sabotage and a disconnection from reality. Ultimately, this mindset leads to a superficial approach to life, where experiences are prioritized over meaningful engagement and personal growth.

Addiction: Everything We Know Is Wrong! (EXCERPT with Conor Ryan, Eyes Wide Open Podcast)

Addiction is a complex phenomenon that is often misunderstood, with high recidivism rates in rehab centers indicating that traditional treatment methods are largely ineffective. The environment plays a significant role in addiction, as societal factors and incentives can encourage addictive behaviors, making addiction a choice rather than solely a brain disease. While addiction can have negative consequences, it also serves a biological purpose related to social bonding and learning, suggesting that it is not inherently bad. Improved sex education and addressing environmental influences may be more effective in managing addiction and its societal impacts than outright bans on substances or behaviors.

Workaholism: Addiction or Lifestyle? (33rd International conference on Mental and Behavioral Health)

Workaholism is increasingly recognized as a complex phenomenon that intertwines with mental health issues, particularly narcissism, and can lead to significant negative consequences for individuals and organizations. It is characterized by an uncontrollable drive to work, often at the expense of personal relationships and well-being, and is associated with various psychiatric disorders such as anxiety and depression. The rise of workaholism reflects a historical shift in societal attitudes towards work and leisure, where work has become a source of identity and self-worth, often leading to burnout and emotional detachment. Addressing workaholism requires a multifaceted approach that considers both individual psychological factors and the broader social context in which work is situated.

Vaccinate Yourself Against Narcissism Virus NOW: It Evades Your Immunity! Real Pandemic Is Here!

Narcissism is a global pandemic that affects people across cultures and societies. To protect oneself from narcissism, one should educate themselves about it, maintain boundaries, and expose themselves to weakened versions of narcissism to build psychological immunity. As herd immunity against narcissism develops, the virus is under pressure to evolve into psychopathy. By following the same steps of education, distancing, and vaccination, humanity can ultimately win the war against narcissism and psychopathy.

Narcissistic Coronavirus for Narcissistic Civilization

A narcissistic civilization has reacted to COVID-19 with unprecedented panic and hysteria, despite the virus's relatively low case fatality rate compared to past pandemics. This reaction stems from a combination of ignorance, the influence of social media, distrust in authority, and a pervasive culture of narcissism that prioritizes extreme self-preservation. The current societal mindset leads to an exaggerated sense of personal significance and risk aversion, resulting in irrational behaviors and responses to the virus. Ultimately, the challenge lies not in surviving the virus itself, but in overcoming the detrimental effects of this collective mindset.
