Narcissist's Fantasy Sex Life

My name is Sam Vaknin, and I am the author of Malignant Self-Love, Narcissism Revisited.

Many narcissists and psychopaths compensate for not having a real sex life with having a fantastic, fantasy-based sex life.

Inevitably, the sexual fantasy life of narcissists and psychopaths reflects their psychodynamic inner landscape. It reflects their fear of intimacy, their misogyny, hatred of women, their control-frequeness, their auto-eroticism, latent sadism and masochism, problems of gender identity, and various sexual deviances or failures.

Fantasies which reflect a fear of intimacy involve the aggressive or violent objectification of a faceless, nameless, and sometimes even sexless person. This is often in impersonal, alien or foreign settings.

For example, a narrative of rape. These usually coalesce with misogynistic, erotic storylines in which females are humiliated, coerced into hurtful submission and subjected to violation and degradation by one person or many.

Were sadism, masochism, homosexuality, or sexual paraphilias such as pedophilia are present, they are injected into the fantasy and color its composition, its content, and its progression.

In his fantasies, the narcissist or psychopath is always in unmitigated control of his environment and the people in it. The assemblages of bodies and limbs which populate his vagrants, his body included, are minutely choreographed to yield maximum titillation.

The narcissist is like an exhibitionistic and voyeuristic porn director with an endless supply of well-endowed actors either cowed into compliance or even craving it.

Naturally, the narcissist fantasies are devoid of any performance anxiety or of the need to reciprocate in the sex act by pleasing his anonymous and robotic partners.

Such imaginarium invariably leads to acts of self-stimulation, the ultimate manifestations of autoeroticism.

Even when the narcissist incorporates his real-life partner in his fantasies, he is bound to treat her as a mere prop, a body to masturbate with, or in, or on. An object to be defiled in acts such as groupsets, swinging, wife-swapping, or outright sexual divience examples, urophilia, or coprophilia.

This crude and overt denigration of the intimate partner serves to render her a slut or a whore in his mind, the kind of woman with whom he can have lustful and motion-free sex.

He reserves his love, involvement, and intimacy to sexless, Madonna-type, sexually inaccessible, or unattainable women, for example, his mother.

The somatic narcissist and psychopath's sexual promiscuity emerges from underlying problems in gender identity. Many of them are closeted bisexuals, cross-dresses, and prone to paraphilias such as pedophilia, fetishism, and sexual sadism or masochism. Some of them try to act out their fantasies and get their partners to assume roles commensurate with their propensities and predilections, however outlandish, illegal, or extreme they may be.

A useful test to tell apart healthy sexual fantasies from narcissistic ones is to pose the question, would you be equally satisfied having sex with a sophisticated, inflatable, robotic doll, as with a flesh and blood partner? If the answer is yes, then in all likelihood we are dealing with a narcissist or a psychopath.

Yet these glimpses into the thwarted and the demented rarely go down well with their significant others.

The narcissist's self-exposure to his intimate partner often elicits reactions of horror, repulsion, and estrangement.

No wonder most narcissists don't even bother to share their fantasies with their loved ones.

The cerebral narcissist merely retreats to sexual abstinence punctuated by compulsive porn-fuel masturbation.

The somatic narcissist compulsively hunts for new feminine prey to sacrifice on the insatiable altar of his false self.

What a sad life.

Cuckolds, Swingers (Lifestyle), and Psychopathic Narcissists: Death of Intimacy?

Psychopathic narcissists exist in a constant state of tension, balancing their need for self-sufficiency with a dependency on narcissistic supply, which includes attention and admiration. They often engage in relationships characterized by a transactional bond, allowing their partners to seek emotional and sexual fulfillment outside the relationship while maintaining control over their primary partner. Cheating, in the context of psychopathic narcissism, does not evoke the same emotional turmoil as it does in typical relationships, as there is often no genuine attachment or love involved. In contrast, cuckoldry and swinging can serve as a means for individuals to explore intimacy and sexual dynamics, but they can also lead to complications and emotional distress if boundaries and consent are not clearly established. Ultimately, the prevalence of casual sex and non-traditional relationship structures raises concerns about the erosion of meaningful intimacy in modern relationships.

Narcissist’s Mixed Signals: You His Mother, He Your Father

Narcissists often have distorted sexual relationships due to conflicting messages received during childhood, leading them to either seek maternal figures or treat partners as disposable objects. Their sexuality is characterized by sadism, where they derive pleasure from degrading and objectifying women rather than from genuine intimacy or love. As relationships progress, women may initially indulge the narcissist's fantasies but eventually seek true intimacy, leading to frustration and withdrawal from the narcissist. Ultimately, this cycle results in a lack of genuine connection, with both parties trapped in dysfunctional patterns that stem from their unresolved childhood issues.

Narcissistic Woman's Sex Narratives (ENGLISH responses)

Narcissistic women and men exhibit fundamentally different psychological profiles and sexual fantasies, with women often gravitating towards grandiose narratives and domination, while men focus on submission and physicality. High-functioning narcissists, who appear organized and productive in society, often engage in extreme sexual behaviors as a means to express their true aggressive and impulsive nature, which they suppress in daily life. This disconnect between their public personas and private desires can lead to significant sexual indiscretions, ultimately resulting in their downfall. The prevalence of women in extreme BDSM practices, such as choking and vampirism, highlights the complex interplay of power dynamics and the desire for control within their fantasies.

Narcissist's Psychosexuality: Deviant Pervert or Just Kinky Fun?

Narcissists are auto-erotic and focused on themselves as the source of pleasure. Their sexuality is often stunted and thwarted, with somatic narcissists flaunting their conquests and cerebral narcissists often being celibate. Narcissists have highly specific fetishes and are very particular about their preferences. The risk of incest and active pedophilia is higher with narcissists and psychopaths due to their lack of impulse control, boundaries, and obedience to rules.

Infantile Narcissist's Submissive Women, Pedophilia (ENGLISH responses)

Women have submissive fantasies and desires in sex, which are built into the female mind. Narcissists are conditioned or become addicted to a source of high-grade narcissistic supply, and submission is not a determinant of the strength or duration of the relationship. Infantilization is a common narcissistic behavior, and in the sexual realm, it takes on the guise of role-play. Pedophilia is a universal phenomenon, and the narcissist's pedophilia has little to do with children but more to do with freedom, control, and defiance.

Sadistic Narcissist Attracted to Himself Through YOU (Autoerotism)

Malignant narcissists, a small subset of narcissists, exhibit a combination of narcissism, psychopathy, and sadism, leading to harmful behaviors such as hate bombing and various forms of abuse. Their sexuality is characterized by exhibitionism and autoerotism, where they derive arousal from their own bodies and the gaze of submissive partners, often engaging in self-centered sexual acts that prioritize their own pleasure. They test their partners through narcissistic abuse and demanding sexual practices, interpreting compliance as proof of their irresistibility and grandiosity. The sadistic narcissist's sexual drive is intricately linked to their sense of power and control over others, with their arousal dependent on maintaining a grandiose self-image, which can be easily disrupted by any challenge to their perceived superiority. Ultimately, their sexual interactions are less about genuine connection and more about self-gratification, with partners serving primarily as instruments for their own autoerotic fantasies.

7th Extinction Engineered by Psychopath Sociosexuals, Narcissist Asexuals

The confusion between psychopathy and narcissism has been perpetuated by self-styled experts, leading to misunderstandings about their distinct characteristics, particularly in the context of sexuality and relationships. Psychopaths are hyper-sexual and use sex as a tool for power and control, while narcissists, both cerebral and somatic, are largely asexual or use sex for validation, often leading to sexless relationships over time. The rise of casual sex and promiscuity, driven by skewed sex ratios and societal pressures, has resulted in a culture where meaningful connections are increasingly rare, and many individuals behave as "virtual singles" despite being in committed relationships. This shift has contributed to a broader societal trend towards narcissism and psychopathy, creating a dystopian landscape of loneliness and disconnection, where traditional relationships are fraught with challenges and infidelity is rampant.

Narcissist Frustrates Women with Ostentatious Fidelity

Cerebral narcissists often frustrate women who are attracted to them by withholding sexual intimacy and engaging in teasing behaviors, which stems from a deep-seated misogyny and contempt for women. They compartmentalize women into categories of "saints" and "whores," leading to a distorted view of intimacy and sexuality, where sex is seen as dirty and reserved for those they devalue. This behavior serves to secure narcissistic supply by eliciting admiration and pursuit while simultaneously reenacting unresolved conflicts from their past. Ultimately, the narcissist's fear of intimacy and emotional connection drives them to inflict pain on women, reinforcing their own feelings of superiority and control.

Sadistic Women-lover, Sadistic Women-hater

Narcissists either love or hate women, but both types end up torturing them. The sadistic women lover, or philogenist, is drawn to women but is terrified by his own obsession with them. He adopts avoidant behaviors to restore his sense of control and superiority over women. The sadistic women-hater, or misogynist, holds women in contempt and seeks to punish them. He fears women and punishes them for bringing forth his own shortcomings. The narcissist regards women as mirrors of his own deficiencies and hates them.

Narcissist: Women as Sluttish Huntresses or Sexless Saints

Heterosexual narcissists desire women but are frustrated by their inability to interact with them meaningfully. They hate women virulently, passionately, and uncompromisingly, and their hate is primal, irrational, and the progeny of mortal fear and sustained abuse in early childhood. Narcissists are infinitely pessimistic, bare-tempered, paranoid, and sadistic, and their daily routine is a rigmarole of threats, complaints, hurts, eruptions, moodiness, and rage. They are their own worst enemy and cannot conceive of life in one place with one set of people, doing the same thing in the same field with one goal within a decades-old game plan or career path or relationship.
